Triple Tow Trailers

The CrossRoads Cruiser fifth wheel is designed with the idea that you can take your “toys” with you when you venture onto the open road. Our triple tow is made to be towed with a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton pickup. A receiver hitch is on the back of the fifth wheel, enabling you to hitch a boat or trailer to carry your 4x4s or bikes with ease.

Some states forbid triple tows. Such states may be: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia. Check your state towing regulations.

There may be other restrictions to towing in tandem based upon total length of tow vehicle and trailers, or type of driver’s license and/or endorsements required. It is essential that you check with the Department of Transportation of each state you will be traveling in, even on a transient basis, to confirm that triple tows are allowed. If you are stopped by law enforcement it’s possible you will be required to unhook one of your trailers in order to proceed to your destination.

Features:

  • As with all towables, the fifth-wheel trailer can be detached at your destination, freeing up the towing vehicle for short trips and excursions, running errands or other conventional uses.
  • The unique bi-level dimension of the fifth wheel places the unit's spacious "master bedroom" over the truck bed, thereby providing more room for family activities in the "living" section of the unit. Many have large picture windows at the rear for panoramic views.
  • Most of our fifth-wheel trailers offer at least one slide-out. At the touch of a button, the slide-out moves a portion of the RV's exterior wall outward as much as 3 1/2 feet to enlarge the living, dining, sleeping or even kitchen area. When extended, the slide-out protrudes beyond the normal outside walls of the RV, like an addition on a conventional home.
  • A fifth-wheel trailer requires a properly equipped and compatible full-size pickup or a custom tow vehicle. It is important to match the weight of the trailer to a tow vehicle which has the necessary towing capacity.
  • The Cruiser Sport wall and floor frame is aluminum and makes our fifth wheels one of the lightest weighing trailers in its class – offering more towing flexibility.
