I have a 12 ft. door. When we were looking for a unit that was one of the requirements----it had to fit through my door.
We had a HH a few years ago and I fought it tooth and nail trying to make it fit. Finally ended up renting storage for the off season. If you do try and make it fit, make sure you're not backing up hill to get it in. That will raise the rear more. Also remember, when and if you get it in there, you still have raise it up MORE to get out from under it.
