My lippert book says 90 to 120 in 3 stage increments.  I also have the 15" alum wheels.

I get the tire shop to do mine every so often just to be sure. 120 ft/lbs. I am looking for a reasonably priced quality torque wrench to throw in the pass thru storage. Good to have on long trips, no worries about retorque after a flat, or rotate on the TV. Another tool that I consider cheap insurance.

I bought a half inch drive torque at Princess Auto for a reasonable price.

I have a 1/2 inch torque wench in the back seat.  I check before each trip and just a quick check every couple of legs.  I had a tire come off a car once and have always given a quick check.  The few minutes it takes is cheap insurance.   < id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall;" id="jsProxy" ="">

Stan is spot on. 90-120. I torque my 15" alums to 115 ft. lbs.

A cheap torque wrench is worse than no torque wrench. I had one of those cheap "altrade" or something like that chinese torque wrenches.  Every time I would get my truck tires rotated at Les Schaub I would come home and check my lugs and have to turn them a lot to get to the torque spec.

I finally called them and asked what brand wrench they were using and how often they were calibrated . They were using Snap ons and the Snap on guy calibrated them every time he made a delivery.

Turns out my wrench was off by about 40 ft lbs at 150 ft lbs. Iwas overtorqueing my lugs by 40 lbs.

I am trying to get our mechanic at work to upgrade, then I can buy his older snap on wrench. I can get it calibrated whenever I want, the SO guy comes by about every 2-3 weeks.
