Check out Casa Grande or Tucson. Both were great places for us last winter. Looking forward to a return.

We stayed in Needles California, which is about 100 south of Las Vegas and about 100 miles north of Quartzite. We stayed in the Needles Marina Park which is right across from a golf course, has sites that are right on the Colorado River and has a nice pool and spa. Met alot of Canadians there some who have been coming to that park for 15 years. We only stayed one month as we had to go to Scotts Valley CA for business but we made reservations for next year for 2 months. It's also near Lake Mohave, Lake Mead, Lake Havasu, Granite Canyon, Mohave National Monument and of course casinos in Bullhead City, Lauglin and Las Vegas. The cost of monthly rental was $300 plus electric which for us was $40. There is also a state park that charges $220 per month that is really beautiful with private sites right on the river but they didn't have internet so we chose Needles Marina. If you spend some time there make sure you tour the cave at Mohave National Monument. It has decorations as nice as Carlsbad, unbelievably beautiful. Also the indian petrogylphs at Granite Canyon are really great. The London Bridge at Lake Havasu is also interesting.

Arizona sounds really good right now. We are in Florida this year and freezing. Spent two winters in Mesa,AZ at a place called The Resort. You might want to check it out. It is very nice and a reasonable price. Good luck. Bev. and Jerry

Now THAT is a large area!
How about picking 3-4 places and travel a bit. Joshua Tree Nat'l Monument is really nice and New Mexico has some breathtaking views as well.

Gord & Brenda -- the answer is YES if you like warm, but not hot, winter weather, don't mind altitude of 4,000 ft and can put up with an occasional winter nite where the temp is in the low 20's (F) that's somewhere below 0 to you. If so, try Cochise County (about 45 minutes east of Tucson on I-10) in the area made famous by the town of Tombstone (but don't go there except to visit for a day. There are several very good campgrounds (and some poor ones too) but our favorite is Cochise Terrace RV Resort, one mine south of I-10 on Arizona route 90.
